Who we are
This website is run by Lucon House Limited, a multimedia production and creative technology company based in Abuja, Nigeria. For anything about your personal data, write to contact@luconhouse.com.
What we collect
- When you request a quote or send a message: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (if you give it), and the project details you write, such as the service, date, location and budget.
- When you chat with us on WhatsApp: your number and the messages you send. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.
- When you play a video: videos are played from YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive, which may set their own cookies and record that the video was viewed.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting records basic data such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and working.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as health, financial or identity documents through this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and deliver the work you ask us for.
- To keep records of our conversations and agreements.
- To keep the website secure and running properly.
We use your information because you chose to contact us (your consent), because it is needed to take steps towards a contract with you, or because we have a legitimate interest in running a secure website, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that help us run this website and reply to you: our web hosting and email providers, and WhatsApp, YouTube, Vimeo or Google when you choose to use them. Each handles data under its own privacy policy. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. For clients, we keep project records for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet legal and accounting duties.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email contact@luconhouse.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Keeping it safe
The website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiries is limited to the Lucon House team who need it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
